The Jiacha Scenic Area is located in Jiacha Village, Jiacha Town, Pingtang County, Guizhou Province. It is situated downstream of the Pingzhou River, with a total area of 45.1 square kilometers and a core scenic area of approximately 14.6 square kilometers. There are 20 scenic spots, including Jiacha Waterfall, Qingtian Garden, Jiulong Xishui, Zhuxi, Yaojiahe Canyon, Niuzhi Peak, Yangjiao Cave, Yanzi Cave, Lama Ethnic Village, Jiuqu Shiba Bay, Laqi Canyon, Bagong River Valley and other scenic spots, enjoying the reputation of "Little Guilin". The scenic area is located in a subtropical monsoon humid climate zone, with no scorching heat in summer and no severe cold in winter. It is rich in heat, abundant in rainfall, and has a long frost free period. The scenic area is mainly characterized by waterfalls, bamboo forest canyons, karst caves, beaches, river bays, and subtropical southern scenery.
